In recognition of his successful and aggressive defense of a wide range of high-profile criminal cases, the American Institute of Trial Lawyers has named California criminal defense attorney Ken Rosenfeld Litigator of the Year for 2020. This award, presented on an annual basis to a small percentage of America’s top attorneys, acknowledges those of the nation’s lawyers who demonstrate excellence across a range of qualities, among them outstanding knowledge, skill, experience, and success.

Every year the American Institute of Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only professional organization, conducts an examination of premier lawyers at the regional and state level to determine recipients of the Litigator of the Year award. To award this recognition, the multi-step procedure relies on information from third-party research as well as peer nominations. Less than .03 percent of lawyers are nominated on any given year.
